It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Grace Wavinya Matata which occurred on 3Ist August 2017.

Wife of the late Joel Matata Muinde. Mother of Sammy, Mutuku, Mutua, Muinde, the late Muema, the late Mutiso, Rose, Lucia, Pauline, Sofia, Wavinya, Wanza and the late Mumbua. Daughter of the late Dishon Kyutu and the late Naomi Wanza. Daughter-in-law of Muinde Wambua and the late Martha Wavinya Muinde. Sister of Lazarus Kyutu, the late Zacharia Mumo, the late Charles Muloli, the late Rhoda Mutheu, Leah Ndinda Muathe, Eva Nguta, Sarah Mbulwa, Elizabeth Monthe, Beatrice Mwikali, the late Alice Nundu Mutiso, Carolyne Mueni and Martha Mbula. Cousins of Mumo Dawa, Mumo Luka, Nzou Dawa, Mbili Dawa and Mary Mutua. Mother-in-law of Nancy Wavinya.(Kinyungu Family), Serah Mbithe, Mary Muema,Aunt of Daniel,Wanza,Titus, Dishon, Mbili, Mbula among others.

Family and friends are meeting at Athi River Rocks Hotel, Nairobi, Machakos Chumvi junction and Yatta Kithimani. The cortege leaves Machakos funeral home on Tuesday 15th August, 2017 at 9.00 am for burial ceremony at her home, Kithimani, Kondo Village Machakos County.
