Gregory Ndwiga Njagi

1942 – 2018

It is with heavy hearts and gratitude to God that the family of Gregory Ndwiga Njagi, wish to inform you of the call to glory of our Patriarch on 4/08/2018 at Aga Khan Hospital.

He was the son of the late Mzee Isaac Njagi Njivovwe and the late Mama Ruth Muthoni Wamurere Njagi. Loving husband of Rosemary Wegandu Ndwiga, cherished father of Fr. John Njiru Ndwiga (Servants of The Sick-Camillians and Champlain, Mater Hospital), Boniface Kivuti Ndwiga (St. Agnes Kiaganari Sec. School), Stephen Mwaniki Ndwiga (Embu Farm), Joseph Muturi Ndwiga (UBA Bank), Pauline Wamuyu Ndwiga (Dama Crest Schools), Cyrus Munyi Ndwiga (Technical University of Kenya).

Brother of Eunice Wanjira, Niceta Njura, the late Peter Nyaga, late Murere, late Desnderio Njoya and late Afrodisio Muturi. He was the father in-law to Mary Kinanu, Beatrice Wambui and Pauline Murugi. Grandfather to Ian, Austin, Roy and Lisa.

Funeral meetings/prayers are held at his home place in Embu, Njakairi Village daily from 5:30pm.

The cortege leaves the Gakwegori Funeral Home at 8.00 am on Tuesday, 14th August 2018 for a funeral service at his farm in Njakairi from 10.30 am followed by burial thereafter at the family farm in Njakairi.
