It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. Grieve Njoroge Gathua on Friday 9th July 2021.

Son of the late Josephat Gathua Kamau and Keziah Njoki Gathua. Husband to Margaret Nyokabi Njoroge. Father to John Gathua, the late Rosemary Njoki, Dr. Kamau Njoroge, Ann Wangui, the late Rachael Wanja, Esther Wamari, David Kibathi and Susan Wanjiru. Brother to Racheal Wanja Muuru, Cunningham Kamau Gathua, Ruth Wanjiru Njoroge, James, Njane Gathua, Joyce Gakenia Njuguna,Tabitha Wangari Ndegwa, and Lucy Njeri Gathua.

Father-in-law to Anne Gathua, Isaac Mbuki, Mercy Kamau, Peter Karuru, Mureithi Wainaina, Musa Bulalo, and Fred Kungu. Grandfather to Mercy Gathua, Carol Gathua, Rosemary Gathua, Daniel Mbuki, Victor Mbuki, Carol Mbuki, Mark Kamau, Jason Kamau, Ben Karuru, Emily Karuru, Peter Mureithi, Patience Mureithi, Joy Mureithi, Andrew Bulalo, Chris Bulalo, Serah Bulalo, Margaret Kibathi, Sharon Kungu, Jimmy Kungu and Margaret Kungu. Great grandfather to Karl Kimani, Gavin Gathua, Alan Nyaga, Andrew Gathua, Edward Mbuki, Aiden Maina and Rosemary Njoroge.

Meetings and prayers are taking place at his Nkoroi home, every evening at 5.00pm.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home along Mbagathi road on Tuesday 20/7/21 for a church service at P.C.E.A Nkoroi church at 10.30 AM Ongata Rongai -Magadi Road, then the burial ceremony in his home at Nkoroi.
