Haggai Wamukowa Namai

 14th May, 1943 — 30th April, 2022

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden demise of Mr. Haggai Wamukowa Namai formerly of University of Nairobi Faculty of Social Sciences (Geography Department), which occurred on 30th April, 2022.

Son of the late Cleopas Namayi and the late Elina Opisa. Loving husband to Eulalia Namai. Cherished father of Cleopas,Angeline, Maurice and Phillip. He was a proud grandfather to Ashton and Elina Wamukowa. Brother to the late Aggrey Opunde, Stanley Osako, the late Merabu Otari and the late Jesca Otipa. Son-in-law of the late Morris Onyango and the late Regina Adikinyi.

The funeral service will take place on Thursday 12th May, 2022 at 12.00pm at All Saints Cathedral – Nairobi.

Burial will be on Saturday 14th May, 2022 at Buchenya Mushikulu village, Butere Sub-location, Kakamega County.
