The Kahiu Family wishes to convey our utmost appreciation and gratitude for the overwhelming comforting prayers, condolences, love, support, and financial assistance following the recent passing on of our Patriarch and Matriarch who passed away on 21st July, 2022 and 6th August, 2022 respectively.

While we might not be able to thank everyone individually, we would like to express our special thanks to the team that gave Mum & Dad dedicated home and medical care: Grace Nyambura, Hargyverous Masinde, Joseph Muhoro, Dr Dan Githegi, Prof Amer Karim, Dr Dan Gikonyo and other doctors and nurses from Nairobi Hospital & Aga Khan University Hospital.

We would also like to give special thanks to the PCEA Church Mukurweni Presbytery and, in particular, members of Kigathi Church that have over a long time given Mum & Dad dedicated services & continuous visitations.

We also wish to thank the entire community of relatives, friends and neighbhours around our Parent’s home who have over a long time dedicated their time and continued to support to our whole family.

We also appreciate the ever available support from Mbari ya Wanjii.

Our thanks also go to the Funeral Committees in Nairobi and Kigathi that did commendable work at this very difficult time.

To all those that sent personal messages and the personal visits to members of the Kahiu Family, we are eternally grateful.
