Third Year Anniversary

Mom, it’s been three long years without you. We wish you were here with us but we also understand that God’s will is not always ours, therefore, we continue to thank God for the many years he gifted us with your Iife. You faced life with resilience and fortitude that inspired all that knew you and now we know why you taught us to be strong. You knew one day we would need to bear you loss.

Mom, we know without any doubt where you are and who you are with. We know you pray for us in heaven, and talk to God about us. As a family, we hope beyond hope, and we have faith that can move mountains that one day we will meet again. We pray that one day it will hurt less and your memory will bring more joy and less pain.

Grief is complicated and not linear, but it’s something we are destined to experience sooner or later. We ask God to continue consoling and sustaining us in his witness of the love that we will always have for you. We pray that he grants you eternal rest and that his perpetual light forever shines upon you.

We remain eternally grateful to Dr. D.K Gikonyo and his son Dr. A.K Gikonyo of Karen hospital. They cared for mom for well over a decade and a half and for that we continue to ask that they continue to accept our gratitude.
