It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of Harrison Wachira Gachichio which occured on 17th October, 2022.

Son of the late senior chief Patrick Gachichio (Gichiu) and the fate Loise Wangui. Stepson to Penina Njeri Gachichio. Loving husband to Jennifer Wanjiru Wachira. Son-in-law to the late Ambrose Kibe and the late Regina Muthoni.

Adorable Dad to Chris Gacicio (CBK),Anthony Wachira (ASL), the late Loise Wangui, Mary Wachira, Hillary Wambugu, Janet Wachira (Coop Bank) and Catherine Wachira (Crown Paints).

Loving brother to Lawrence Wambugu, the late Philip Wachira, Wanjiku Ngero(Burnt Forest), Ben Gachichio, the late Solomon Gachichio, Emily Kondoro, Mary Gikonyo, Ex-cllr. Nancy Gachichio, Allan Ndau and Esther Wairimu Wachira. Father-in-law to Dr. Esther Gacicio (E-learning Solutions), Esther Kibe, John Gitonga and Stephen Mutuku.

Cousin to Matthew Ndau Kiambati, Teresa Kiambati, Beatrice Gathoni Wachira, Wachira Minai and Kamathiro Gachanja.

Uncle to Margaret Wangui, Peter Wambugu, Gabriel Gachichio, John Wachira, Martha Muringi, Mercy Wanjiku, Daniel Mwai, Francis Mwai, Hon. Gichuki Mugambi, Kingi Wachira, Andrew Maina, Richard Ndau, Tony Githaiga, Maro Wachira, Regina Wachira (Denmark), Nyambura Githaiga, Wanjiku Gikunya, Pastor Kiambati Kanyora, Gichiu Thitima, Wanjiku Waitara, Gachanja Wachira and Martin Gachichio, amongst others.

Brother-in-law to Andrew Muchiri, Mary Kiragu, John Wambugu, Margaret Nduta and Lucy Wangeci. Grand father to Ciru, Cyndie, Christine, Jackline, June, Gilbert, Patrick, Kevin, Mark, Mitchell, Kanini and Nathan.

Prayers are ongoing at his home Gichiche village, Chinga Location, Othaya Sub-county, Nyeri County from 6.00pm.

The meetings will be held at Castle Garden on Friday, 21st and Tuesday 25th October, 2022 at 6.00pm and Mass at Gacicio’s Residence, Ridgeways, on Monday, 24th October, 2022 at 3.30pm.

The cortege leaves Mwai Kibaki Level 6 Hospital Mortuary – Othaya, on Wednesday, 26th October, 2022 at 9.00 o’clock for Mass at Chinga Community Grounds at 10.00 O’clock and thereafter interment at his home Gichiche village at 2.00pm.
