With deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing on of Harun Ardens Kipchumba Ego Kenei (Formerly of Electoral Commission of Kenya) in Eldoret on 19/03/2022.

Son of the late Ego Kipkenei, the late Hellena Kimoi and the late Teresa Kimoi.

Son-in-law to the late Chesoo Chemjor and the late Kabon Chebii.

Beloved husband to Mary Francisca Kipchumba (Formerly of Moi Educational Centre).

Father to Bernard & Emily Kenei (KDF/NMS), Dr. Redempter Chemutai K. Kenei (UoN), Steve Kiprono K. Kenei (American Redcross), Hon. Nelly Chelagat K. Kenei (Judiciary) and Marion Cherotich K. Kenei (Brandiam).

Brother to John, Constantina, Paulina, Joseph, Late Thomas, Late Mary, Anna, Bernusa,Andrew and Selina.

Brother-in-law to William, John, Philistadosphine, Sivilina, Nancy, Benjamin, Late Salome,Ann, Ronald and Gilbert. Grandfather to Kimberly Chelagat, Kaylie Chebet and Nikita Chebet. Cousin, Uncle and Friend to many.

Friends and family are meeting daily at the family home in Korkitony, Elgeyo Marakwet and Uswo, Uasin Gishu.

Fundraisers will be held on 28/03/2022 at Korkitony and on 29/03/2022 at Uswo.

The cortege leaves Eldoret Hospital on 01/04/2022 at 2:00 pm for a funeral service and overnight stay at his Uswo home.
