Helen Hilda Ogalo Oyoo

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our beloved Helen Hilda Ogalo Oyoo on Wednesday, 23rd March, 2022.

Adored daughter of the late Susana and George Mang’ong’o Ogalo of Kodero Bara, Kamagambo.

Loving wife of the Late Sylvanus Oyoo of Kisumu, Nyalenda.

Devoted mother to Thomas Omondi Oyoo.

Cherished sister to the Late Philomena Oyigo, Winnie Mitoko, Edward Ogalo, Charles Ogalo and Alfred Ogalo.

Daughter in law to the Late Didakus Abuto and Sabina Ogore.

Sister-in-law to the Late Philip Abuto, Late Mary Abala, Hellen Achieng’, Late Joshua Oyigo, Late Dr. Mika Omieri Mitoko, Risper Ogalo and Anna Ogalo.

Loving aunt to Jessica Oyigo, Omieri Eric Mitoko, Bernice Mitoko, George Mitoko, George Ogalo, Georgina Ogalo, Dr. John Paul Ogalo and Justus Ogalo. Cousin and friend to many.

Helen was a devoted member of Holy Family Minor Basilica serving as founding Chairperson of the Catholic Women Association and later, in life, as an active member of St Aloys Ojola Catholic Church, Kisumu.

The cortege leaves Aga Khan Hospital Kisumu mortuary on Thursday, 31st March, 2022 for an overnight stay and vigil at her home at Daraja Mbili, Kisumu, on 1st April, 2022.
