It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Hellen Chepkoech Matelong which occurred on 6th Oct 2019.

Daughter of the late Daniel Kurgat Kapmanyengok and Rael Kurgat, Susan Kurgat and the late Milka Kurgat. Loving wife of the late Paul Kipkurgat Matelong. Loving mother of Victor Kimutai, Kelvin Kipkemboi, Lynn Chebet and Michelle Cheptoo. Sister of the late Peter, Sarah, Pauline, Edna, Kemboi, Eunice, Irene, Sammy, Mary, Jacob, Kipkorir, Kiptoo, Pricilla, Lilian, Chiri, Solomon, Moses, the late Abraham, Selina, Willy and Symon. Mother in-law of Faith and Ashly. Grandmother of Zamil, Kearon and Naila. Daughter-in-law of the late Mairore Kipsemberi Arap Bore Matelong (Babuchii) and Gogo Eunice Matelong, Esther Matelong, the late Nancy and the late Pot Lelei. Sister-in-law of James, Esther, Ezekiel, Sarah, Sammy, Joan, the late Erick, Jane, John, Josephine, Rael, Chelimo, Cheruto, Chelagat, Wilson, Rodgers, Ben, Chuma, Kemboi.

Family and friends are meeting daily at their home Chepkoilel, Ngeria, Dry’s and Sirikwa hotel for funeral arrangements.

Fundraising will be held on Tuesday 15th Oct 2019 at Sirikwa Hotel at 4.00 pm.

The cortege leaves MTRH Funeral home on Wednesday 16th Oct 2019 at 1.00 pm for requiem service at AIC Fellowship-Eldoret. Funeral service and burial will take place on 17th Oct 2019 at her home Chepkoilel-Eldoret.
