Hellen Moraa Maranga

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hellen Moraa Maranga (Hellen Johnson), on Saturday 30th April, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Hospital – Sydney Australia.

A loving wife to the late Professor J.S. Maranga. Daughter to the late Pastor and Mrs Johnson Agoki Mainda. Daughter-in-law to the late Mr and Mrs Samwel Sechero. Mother to Stella, Lucy, Beth, Joyce, Peace, Richard (Tom), Emily, Norma and Denis Maranga. Mother-in-law to Lydia Nyaoga and Jennifer Maranga. Grandmother to Maimuna and Kibisu Kabatesi, Lugadiru Omido, Wesley and Madeline Hudgens, JJ, Nikki, Sammy, Tamara and Miriam Moraa Nyakundi, Brysen McIntyre, Sammy Maranga, and Zuri Nyanchoka Muiruri.

Sister to Dr. and Mrs. Steve Mainda, Eunice Nyamokami, Prof. and Mrs George Agoki, Dr and Mrs Phillip Mainda, Mr Abraham (the late) and Alice Anyona, Pastor and Mrs Fred Mainda, Dr and Mrs Cleve Mainda , Dr and Mrs Isaac Maragia. Sister-in-law to Mr and Mrs Aristariko (the late) and Truphena Nyangena, Mr and Mrs Aristariko Ateka (the late), Mr and Mrs Lawrence (the late) and Rachel Sagwe, Mr and Mrs David and Helen (the late) Ongwae, Justice and Mrs Samwel Bosire, Mr and Mrs Fredrick Ogari (the late), Mr and Mrs Dickson Mayogi, Mr and Mrs Charles Anunda, and Late Rhoda Kwamboka Sechero. Beloved Auntie to many.

There will be church services in Sydney Australia on Friday 6th May, 2022 and in Kahawa Sukari – Nairobi on Saturday 7th May at 9.00am.

A final prayer service will be held at her home in Metamaywa – Ribwago on Thursday 12th May, 2022.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Kahawa Sukari – Nairobi, and at the Metamaywa home.

There will be a fundraising at Nairobi Central SDA Church on Tuesday 10th may, 2022 at 5.00pm. Pay-bill: (8046465), A/C Number: (Your Name).

The burial will be held on Friday 13th May, 2022 at her home in Metamaywa.
