It is with deep sorrow & humble acceptance of God’s divine will that we announce the passing of our hero and loving father Rtd S/AIG, former Director of Operations National Police Service (NPS) & was also a former board member KWS, KFS and NTSA.

He was a loving son to the late Wilson Barmao, Flora and Prisca Barmao. Beloved Husband to Mrs. Jostine. M. Barmao (Ass. Inspector General of Police, NPS). Devoted father to John, Maria, Bren, Dr. Duncan, Carlos (NPS) and Chemu.

Brother to Salina, the late Joseph, the late Paul, the late Simeon, Monica, Judy, Jane, Darius, the late Archie, Raymond, Kelvin, late Sammy, Nancy, Norman, Crispus, Felix and Samuel.

Son-in-law to the late Jackton Kilong’i & the late Ruth Nabangala. Brother-in-law to late Vincent, Gladys, late Eunice, Violet, Roselyn, Susan, Mkanda, Wycliffe & Enock. Brother-in-law to late Mathew, late Rose, late Mary, Shadrack, Mwai, James, late Emanuel & Rachael.

Uncle to Laga, Tanu, Chebe, Gidi, Collo, Michelle, Olly, Muthoni, Moffat, Stephanie, Mwai, Harriet, Eugene & to many.

Father-in-law to Kwambo, Kimandu, Levi & Ephy. Grandfather to Ella, Mawenzi, Nolan and Fabian.

He died at Nairobi Hospital, the body is at Lee Funeral Home.

A requiem mass will be on 3rd January 2022 in Holy Family Basilica at 2p.m.

Burial and church service will be on 5th January 2022 at Chemoset Village, Soy, Uasin Gishu County starting from 10:00 a.m.

Family and friends are gathering for prayers at their home in Ruai and Talket.
