Henry Ntongai Smith

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will and gratitude that members of Ntongai’s family, announce promotion to glory of their father Henry Ntongai Smith, which occurred on 10th October, 2023 at KU Referral Hospital after a short illness.

He was the beloved husband to Margret Karimi Ntongai.

He was son to the late M’mauta M’Maramba and the late Jerusha Cietirime of Kaibu village, Igembe South Constituency. Ntongai was brother to the late Kobia, the late Muturua, Kathekia and Saka.

He was adorable Dad to Hon Doris Kanario, Pamela, Polyne, Martin, Hilda and Jackie. Father-in-law to Paul Ort (Austria), Faith and Winny.

He was grandfather to Shawn, Ryan, Laura, Marc,Tiffany, Kim,Tosh, Hope, Mephis, Ronnie, Ruby, Wayne, and Tamyra.

He was uncle to Kirema, Miriti, Kajuju, Kirimi, Karimi,Thirindi, Robert, Kambura, Mwendwa and many others.

Family and friends are meeting for prayers and funeral arrangements at Central Cafe Maua, Labaita Lounge and Kamuchinde South B everyday from 6,00pm for funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave KU Referral Hospital on 19′ October 2023 for a funeral service at MCK Kaibu Church grounds, there after he will be laid to rest at his Home in Kaibu Village.
