Herine Akinyi Omollo (Nyahero)

We regret to announce the death of Mrs. Herine Akinyi Omollo (Nyahero) which occurred on Sunday, 30″ April 2023 after a short illness.

Daughter to the late Mzee Charles Osawa Sure and Mama Mariam Osawa of Tura, Ahero. She was step-daughter to Mama Norah Chiewo, the late Grace, the late Karen, Susan and Phoebe.

Beloved wife of the late Mr. Francis Wellington Omollo of Nyamware, Kano. Mother to Mercy Awino Omollo, Paul Brian Omollo, Billy Charles Osawa and Allan Winston Odhiambo.

Sister to the late Walter Osodo, the late Alice Omega, Millicent Akello, the late Elijah Odoyo, the late Eucabeth Anyango, Phelesia Nyumba, Patrick Osawa, Monica Osawa, Sheba Osawa, Otieno Okumu, Doris, the late Silas Osawa, Ruth, Emily and Judy.

Niece to Allan Sure, James Karae, Benson Arianda, Ascah, the late Nereah and Francis Chiewo. Daughter-in-law to Solomon Omollo Mbai and Phelesia Atudo Omollo ofTamu location, Muhoroni.

Sister-in-law to John Omollo, Peres Okeyo, Prisca, Pamela, Ezekiel, Benjamin, Rose Ombewa, the late Jane, Okeyo, Erick, Festo, Amos, Paul Omollo, Simon Omollo and Hezron Omega.

In-law (Nyawana) to Prescilla Atieno Kodiko of Nyagowa, Kotieno-Kochich, Mr and Mrs Charles Muthuri of Kinoru, Meru, Rosemary Jonyo Atudo of Namba Nyokal and Josephine Omoto of Busia.

Mother-in-law (Maro) to Ben Ochieng, Hon. Odoyo Owidi, Herbert Odhiambo Kodiko, Kendy Muthuri, Zainna Winnie Akinyi and Kate Anyango Omoto.

Wonderful auntie to many including Elly. Celestine, Susan, Hilda, Vobrian, Tom, Mary, Judy Omega, Grace, Ben, Elijah Omega, the late Sarah. Lefty, Elijah Akello, Kepha, Austin, Gerry, Eva, Charlie, Philip, Judy Osodo, Emma, Fred, Olivia, Diana, Oluoch, Sila, Liz-Abby, Debra, Eugene, Laila, Ken Onditi, Lydia, Brenda,Teresa, Omondi, the late Kate, Oketch, Aboy, Dus, Nyamiyo and Akuli.

Adored grandmother to Hawi, Emmanuel, Lamar, Aiden, Trevor, Ruby and Hera.

The body is lying at the War Memorial Hospital, Nakuru.

There will be a fundraiser to offset medical and funeral expenses on Thursday, 18th May 2023 at the All-Saints’ Cathedral from 5:00p.m.

Burial is set for Saturday, 27th May 2023 at her home in Oneno Nam, Songhor, Muhoroni Constituency.
