It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that the Chweya family announces the death of HON. DR. Hezron Gichana Manduku Nyakenyanya of Nyanturago Village, Nyaribari Masaba, Kisii County. Founder and Chairman of Hema Hospitals who served as assistant minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Member of Parliament for Nyaribari Masaba constituency; 1992 — 1997 and 2002 – 2007.

Son of the late Herodion Nyakenyanya and the late Eucabeth Masese. Son-in-law of the late Senior Chief Abuga and the late Biliah Nyanchama. Husband of Mrs. Florence Moraa Manduku (Sister). Father of the late Hubert Nyangwara Manduku, Dr. Vera Manduku Ataya (KEMRI), Rose Manduku-Oigara (US), Dr. Lily Kwamboka Nyaata (US), Eng. Hubert Nyandusi Manduku (Lasso), Telescova Gesare Manduku (Tele), Evelyne Makori Manduku (NHIF), Dr. Robert Nyakenyanya Manduku (Hema Hospital), the late Albert Chweya, Beldina Nyatero, Billiah Nyanchama Manduku.
