Hon Isaac Wacira Waweru

It is with great sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Hon. Isaac Wacira Waweru, former Member of Parliament of Parklands Constituency (now Westlands), on 21st April, 2022, after a long illness.

He was born on 23rd June 1938 at Hiringa Village, Kabiruini Location, Mathira in Nyeri County.

He was a loving husband to the late Ann Wambui, Agnes Wangui, Beatrice Nduta and Nancy Wanjiku.

He was the father of Margaret Wanjiru Wacira, Jane Wanjiku, Erick Waweru, Douglas Niiraini, Samuel Maina,Tabitha Wamuyu, Peris Muthoni, John Waweru and Dickson Waweru.

He was a brother to the late Ngima Mwarania, the late Samuel Kariuki, the late Geoffrey Muriuki, Peter Karia, Jane Watetu, Mary Gathoni, James Kamau, Regina Nyawira, the late Eunice Watetu, Lucy Waithira, Margaret Nyawira, Isaac Wacira, Teresia Wanjiru, Jackson Kamau,Ann Muthoni, Hellen Merl, Elizabeth Mwihaki and Jane Wangari.

He was an uncle, grandfather, and great grandfather to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting for funeral arrangements at his home in Ol Kalou, Nyandarua County and his son’s residence in Ridgeways, Nairobi County, from 5.30 pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Teaching Referral and Research Hospital Funeral Home on Tuesday, 3rd May, 2022 at 6am for a funeral service at his home in Kariamu Village, Ol Kalou, Nyandarua County starting at 11am.
