It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Hon. Janet Midecha Mwenesi which occurred at Coptic Hospital, Nairobi.

Daughter of the late Matthew Musalia Mwenesi & the late Lenah Kagika Mwenesi. Mother of William Shisungu Mbaisi and Selina Lumadi Omondi. Mother-in-law of Emelda Ayieko Shisungu and Norbert Omondi. Grandmother of Neslyne Muhonja. Sister of Eng. Edward Mwenesi, Rosemary Mwenesi, Dr. Bilha Mwenesi, the late Lily Mwenesi, Stephen Mwenesi, Dr Musimbi Ondeko, the late Francis Mwenesi and Hon. Andrew Mwenesi. Sister-in-law of Rose Mwenesi, Dr Halima Mwenesi, Dr. John Ondeko, Betty Mwenesi and Eunice Mwenesi. Niece/Cousin/Aunty of the Vitas, Onyinos, Kihambas, Prof. lndire’s family, Omidos, Kaigas, Kidakes, Kulumbas, Mudogas, Saidis and many others.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday 14/02/2018 at Friends International Centre, Ngong road at 2.00pm.

The cortege leaves Nairobi, Coptic Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 15/02/2018 at 7.00am.

Burial service at 10am on 17/2/2018 Kiritu, Kigama, North Maragoli, Vihiga County.
