Hon. Mrs. Joyce Bahati Mwangoji

22nd March, 1947 — 25th April, 2021

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Hon. Joyce Bahati Mwangoji, Member of the County Assembly of Taita-Taveta which occurred on 25th April, 2021.

Loving wife to Baldwin Mwakughu Mwangoji. She was the daughter of the late Livingstone John Kubo and late Jedidah Kawuki Kubo. Adorable mother of Kilimo Mwangoji, the late Kubo Mwangoji, Connie Mwangemi, Jedidah Sagini, Mwacharo Mwangoji, Maghanga Mwangoji and Tayo Mwangoji. Sister to the late James Tayo Kubo, the late Beatrice Wughanga Njage, Hon. Mwacharo Kubo, Stephen Mwazighe, Roseline Sau Mwangeka, Danson Jumla among others.

Mother-in-law to Anne Mwangoji, Joshua Mwangemi, Michael Sagini, Celestina Mwangoji and Monici Maghanga. Grandmother to Ndemo Sagini, Joyce Sagini, Joyce Kubo,Wakesho Zulu, Bahati Alderman, Baldwin Mwangemi, Lorraine Sagini, Mathenge Mwangoji, Franciene Sagini, Nashon Mwangemi, Bahati Mwangoji, Uriel Mwangoji, Kulola Mwangoji, Joyce Maghanga and Connie Maghanga. Great grandmother to Jade Sagini, Zuri Zulu and Cairo Alderman.

The cortege leaves St Joseph Funeral Home, Voi on Friday 30th April, 2021 at 8:00 a.m. for a Memorial Service at Ngerenyi Social Hall Grounds at 10:00 a.m. Thereafter she will be laid to rest at her home in Kidaya-Ngerenyi Village, Mwatate sub- County.

Mum, you will always be loved; never forgotten and forever missed. You are in the arms of God now and we believe that you will be watching and guiding us from above. Rest In Peace Hon. Joyce Mwangoji.
