It is with deep sorrow that we announce the promotion to glory of Honesty Rigiri Mukiria of Marlene sub location, Meru county on 24th September 2022.

Beloved daughter of the late Mr & Mrs. M’Muketha.

Wife to the late David M’Mugambi of Marlene, Meru County.

Sister to the late Helen M’Rukaria & Ciomugambi M’Rarama & late James Kanampiu.

Mother to Rev. Jennifer & the late Prof. Makuyu, late Fredrick Mbayar & Florence, Lilian & the late Mungatia, Mr & Mrs. Peter Gitonga (Sameer Africa), Mr & Mrs. Edward Arimi, Mary Nkatha & late Gikunda, Rosemary Mugambi (Serena Hotels), Mr & Mrs. Kendrick Mutuma (Safaricom) and Catherine Kanorio. She leaves behind 29 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

There will be a thanksgiving service at Lavington United Church on Wednesday 28th September at 2.00PM.

The cortege leaves Meru funeral home on Friday 30th September at 8.00am for the funeral service at st, John’s Methodist Church Mariene at 10AM and thereafter for a private interment at her home at Materetu Village.
