It is with profound sorrow and the humble acceptance of God’s will, that we announce the promotion to glory of Honourable Stanley Munga Githunguri which occurred on 29th November 2022.

He was the loving husband of the late Elizabeth Karungari Munga Githunguri. He was the loving father to Joanne Nyawira Githunguri, Lilian Wanjiru Githunguri, Njeri Githunguri Mukabana, Lilian Joy Nyagaki Githunguri, Joseph Munga Githunguri and Francis Wanjihia Githunguri. Father-in-law to Edward Mukabana and Jacqueline Mungai Githunguri.

A doting grandfather to Jonathan, Noni, Munga, Arika, Jumai, Lali, Masoud, Mishaella, Josef and Adam.

A beloved son of the late Githunguri Thaara and the late Lilian Nyagaki Githunguri. He was the oldest brother of Sarah Njoki Maina and Rosemary Wanjiku Githunguri.

Brother-in-law of Joseph Maina. He was a step brother, uncle, cousin and beloved friend and mentor to many.

Honourable Stanley Munga Githunguri served his country as Executive Chairman of National Bank of Kenya and Member of Parliament for Kiambaa Constituency. An astute business man, he was the founder, chairman and director of various companies, including Geminia Insurance Company. He was an inspiration to many and will be missed by those that knew him well.

The Prayer Services for Honourable Stanley Munga Githunguri will be held at his Karen Residence on Tuesday 6th and Wednesday 7th December 2022 from Spm to 6pm. He will be interred at a private ceremony.

Memorial Service details to be announced at a later date.
