It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that the Huruko family announces the death of Humphrey Huruko Njau, which occurred on Saturday, 01/04/2023.

Husband to the late Rahab Wanjiru Huruko.

Son of the late Patrick Njau Huruko and the late Margaret Muthoni Njau. Son-in-law of the late Thomson Ndegwa and the late Priscilla Gatiti.

Loving father to Lucy Muthoni Kirogo, Nancy Gatiti Nyaga,Winnie Wanjiku, Patrick Njau, G.T. Ndegwa and Margaret Ngendo. Father-in-law to the late Richard Kirogo Mwaura, Dr. M. Kibunjia and Leanne Nyawira.

Brother to Jane Wanjiku Ndegwa, Johnson Kamau, Nephat Kabao, Mary Wamaitha, the late Julius Ngahu and Nelson Maina.

Brother-in-law to the late Julius Wanyoike, Margaret Ngendo, the late Reuben Kimani, the late Lawson Ngone, Jameson Njoroge, Justus Kamawe (Ngugi) and Jane Mwihaki Wanyoike.

Grandfather to Ivy Mumbi, Andrew Mwaura and the late Gacambi Kirogo,Wangui. Kabala, Cecilia Ngoki Kibunjia, Julius M. Kibunjia and Maya Kibunjia, Ashley Nyambura and Kayla Wanjiru, Kelvin Huruko, Leon Mutonga and Yvonne Wanjiru, Joy Wambui, Tehila Mumbi and Soni Thomson, Stephanie Mumbi, Trevor Huruko and Emmanuel Githinji. Great-grandfather to Klein and Habib, Sankara and Gigi Kabala.

Family and friends are meeting at the family home.

The cortege will leave North Kinangop Catholic Hospital at 9.00am on Thursday, 06/04/2023, for a funeral service and burial at the family’s home in Ndunyu Njeru – North Kinangop.
