We regret to announce the passing on of Ian Odhiambo Otieno (Abdi), which occurred on the 17th July, 2023.

Son of Timothy Otieno Awuor and Benter Alice Akinyi. Brother to Nicole Akinyi Otieno.

Grandson to the late Jason Canon Awuor, Serfine Odawo Awuor and the late Herine Adhiambo Awuor; the late Henry Aoko Orao & the late Margaret Aoko.

Nephew to Tom & Hellen, Judith & Zedekiah, Philip & Pamela, Millicent & David, the late Nicholas & the late Beatrice, Fred & Bessy, Sylvia & Jack,Arthur & Apollonia, Catherine & Steve, Janet & Joseph, Maureen, Albert, Amos, Samuel, Habil & Pamela, the late Jack, the late Edwin, the late Okoth and George. Cousin to Isaac, Ronny, Serfine, Viola, Lenter, Liz, Beverly, Daisy, Jesse, Laureen, Shirleen, Val, Arshavin, Jason, Cannon, Annette, Stanley, Allan, Victor, Cynthia, Jobray, Fabian, Amari, Jayson, Junior, Joy, Lilian, George, Ritah, Leah Otieno, Kevin, John, Brian, Margaret, Leah Odera, Philip, Felisha, Deborah, William, Mandela, Briden and Joram.

Friends and relatives will meet at All Saints Cathedral Kenyatta Avenue, Nairobi, on Wednesday, 2nd August, 2023 for fundraising to defray Hospital bills and funeral expenses from 5.00pm.

There will be a memorial service at St. James ACK – Buruburu on 3rd August, 2023 from 2.00pm.

The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home on 4th August, 2023 at 7.30am for an overnight vigil at their home. Burial service will take place on Saturday, 5th August, 2023 at Otondo Village, Kabondo Division, Homabay County.
