Ian Wanguirubi Nyamu
It is with great sadness but with humble acceptance that we announce the passing on of Ian Wanguirubi Nyamu which occurred on 31st August, 2017.
Son of the late Ephraim Nyamu, Wanguirubi and the late Rahab Wanjiku Nyamu. Step son of Ann Wairimu Nyamu. Father of Vincent Nyamu Wanguirubi (US), David Kamau Wanguirubi (US) and Victoria Wanjiku Wanguirubi. Beloved brother of Jennifer Munjiru Njoroge, Mary Njoki (US), Pastor Eileen Njeri, Florence Wangari Njuguna, Pauline Waithira Mwaniki, Dorothy Wairimu Muruthi, Josephine Gathoni Kumu, Jane Wanjiru Mbuga (US) and Solomon Mureithi Nyamu. Brother-in-law of the late Sabastian Njoroge Kangethe, Geoffrey Njuguna Githinji, Charles Mwaniki Kariuki, John Muruthi Mwangi, James Kumu Mwichigi, John Mbugua Gachangi (US) and Margaret Waithira Kimani Mureithi. Cousin and uncle of many.
Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Gitiha, Githunguri Sub- County, Kiambu County. The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Mortuary on Monday 1th September 2017 at 8.00am fora funeral service and burial at his parents’ home, Gitiha, Githunguri Sub- County, Kiambu County at 10:00 am.

Rest in peace my friend! The late and I lived in Jersey City, New Jersey and Brooklyn New York together in late 80’s. He was fun to be with. Condolences to the family.
