It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ibrahim Pasta, a man whom we loved as a Father, Husband, Uncle, Brother, Grandfather and Patron. From his parents and his siblings he received an inspiration which he passed on to all of us. He gave us strength in time of trouble, wisdom in time of uncertainty, and sharing in time of happiness. Ibrahim Pasta will be remembered as a blessing to us all and his memory will remain a treasure. He was a man who knew that there were wrongs that needed attention, that there were people who were poor and needed help. He strongly felt that we had a moral obligation to those that were less fortunate, which is why most times you would find him in the most inhospitable locations, doing what he did best; helping people.

We will continue to reflect deeply upon how you have shaped our character, moulded our spirits and touched our hearts through your ceaseless kindness. Your true worth can never be told. He deeply loved his family and you wouldn’t find him happier than when surrounded by his loved ones. As we celebrate a life of loving and sharing, of giving and caring, we humbly request all of you to remember Ibrahim the next time someone will be a beneficiary of your kindness, be it planting a tree, building a well, clothing an orphan, feeding the destitute or quenching someone’s thirst. Love is not an easy feeling to put into words. Nor is loyalty, or trust, or joy. But he was all of these. These all and more were matters that were very close to his heart and the best way for us to pray for him. He loved life completely and he lived it intensely. That is the way he lived. That is what he leaves us, and that’s how we will always remember him.

Dear dad, you are loved beyond words and you will always be by our side.
