It is with profound sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of lnga Karin Steffensen, which occurred on the 22nd of April, 2021, at her residence in Hurlingham Maisonettes after a long illness bravely borne.
Daughter of the late Karin and Walter Francke. Daughter-in-law of the late Apollo and Eunice Kagwa. Loving wife of the late Peter Lembuya, mother of Robin. Mother-in-law of Gitte. Grandmother of Andreas and Filippa. Sister of Roswitha Jarman and Gunhild Marchant. Sister-in-law of Sananga, Elizabeth, Naipanoi, Naisalei, Noolera, Leah and Pirius. Aunt to Karen, Thomas Jarman, Leslie, Francis, Thomas Marchant among others and a dear friend to many.
There will be a memorial on Tuesday 27th April, 2021, to be held at her home at 2.00pm.
The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary on Wednesday 28th April, 2021 at 8.00am, for cremation at Kariokor Crematorium, at 10.30am.
In God’s hands you rest, dearest Karin, and in our hearts you live forever. Rest in Eternal Peace. Amen!
