It is with deep shock and sorrow that we announce the sudden and tragic death of Innocent Orenge Onchiri which occurred on Sunday, 30th April 2023. He hails from Chironge Village, Kiamokama, Kisii County.

Loving Son of the late Christopher Onchiri Isaboke and Lucy Moraa Onchiri. Father of Christopher Onchiri Orenge. Grandson of the late Maritinus Isaboke and Darius Getanda. Brother of Salome Onyonka, Fredrick Moturi, Josephine Onchiri-Makori, John Mokandu, Dr. Samuel Onchiri, Roselyne Bonareri, Edna Kemunto and Darius Isaboke.

Nephew of Nyabicha Isaboke, Peter Omosa, George Ongori, Charles Mbera, Elijah Okindo, Morang’a, the late Ratemo, the late Basweti, the late Makori, the late Sokobe, the late Ongori and Samson Ototo among others.

Brother-in-law of the late John Onyonka Akara, Dismas Makori, Linet Moraa, Beatrice Gesare, Cynthia Ogake and Evelyne Kerubo.

Cousin of Fr. Daniel Isaboke Omosa, Senior Chief Phillip Magutu, Chief Magaki, Adv. A fundraiser to offset funeral expenses will be held on Tuesday, 9th May 2023 at Chironge Village from 5:30pm.

The cortege leaves Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital (KTRH), Kisii County on Friday, 12th May 2023 at 7:00am for mass and interment at Chironge Village, Kiamokama, Kisii County on the same day.
