It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Irene Akinyi Odera Kitinya. Formerly of Top Skill People Solutions (COO), Airtel Africa (CHRO), Airtel Kenya (HR-Director), Barclays Bank of Kenya, GSK, CMC Motors and Amref Board.
Loving wife of Silas Kitinya. Beloved daughter of the late Maria Josephine and the late Richard Odera. Daughter-in-law of the late Ishmael Kitinya and Hellen Kitinya, the late Eunice, Florence, Joseph, John, Tobias, Walter, Sammy and Dickson.
Devoted mother of David, Maria, Raphael and Zawadi. Sister of Lilian, the late Florence, Adelaide, Redempta, Christine, the late Gloria, Isaac, Steve, Val, Yvette and Jerry.
Sister-in-law of Tom, Grace, Peter, George, Evans, Lawrence, Joseph, William, Austine, the late Ernest, Brian, Lilian, Robert, Dorothy, Godfrey, Modercai, Wangari, Rosie, Fredah, Donna, Rose amongst others.
Cousin of Sally, June, Canary, Peter, Pita, Mike, Willy, Paul, Brian, Jacob, Grace, Betty amongst others. Niece of the late Arthur, the late Albert, Jane, Awino, the late Joash, Akango and Patricia. First granddaughter of the late Edward Odera and late Anastasia Siangani. Beloved Aunty of many.
The burial date will be communicated at a later date. There will be no formal gathering to condole with the family as per the current government directive.
