It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance that we announce the demise of Irene Rose Wangari Karanja on Wednesday 5th December 2018.
Daughter of Stephen Mugi and the late Naomi Wanjiru. Wife of the late David Karanja Kungu. Loving mum to the late Carolyne Njeri, Anthony Kungu, Stephen Kamau and Claire Wangari. Sister to Jemimmah Njeri, the late Paul Ng’ang’a, Joseph Gitau, the late Mary Waithera, Virginia Nduta, Peter Ngugi, Gladys Nyambura and the late Nancy Gathoni.
Friends and family are meeting daily at her Ruai home and Brilliant pub from 6pm.
The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary at 7am on Friday 14/12/2018 to Kihumbuini, Gatanga subcounty, Murang’a County.
