Irene Shali Mngoda

It is with acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Irene Shali Mngoda, after a long illness.

She schooled at Kenya Israel School of Social Work, a Teacher and a long standing Social Worker at Mathare Mental Hospital.

Wife of the late David Mazola Mngoda. Mother of Samuel Kilele Mngoda (Former P.C. Coast, Western Province), Patience Mngoda (former Ministry of Transport), Margaret Mngoda (Kenya National Audit Office), Valerie Mazola (International Committee of Red Cross) & the late Smart Mwanjala.

Mother-in-law to Sylvia Manga Lalu, Michael Musembi Mutua.

Grandmother to Marvin Musembi, Shirley Rondel, David Mazola, Irene Shali, Marcus Mutua, Kelvin Lalu. Great-grandmother to Tyrrel Kilele, Nilan, Patience, among others.

Burial will be held at Sagala Location, Voi Division, Taita Taveta County on Saturday 2nd April, 2022.
