Irine Chepkemoi Melep – Mutai

We are saddened to announce the death of Irine Chepkemoi Melep – Mutai who was until her demise the Principal Clinical Officer In-Charge of Transmara West Sub County Hospital in Kilgoris, Narok County.

She was the seventh born child of the Late Mr Nathaniel Melep and Mrs Recho Melep and the Late Mrs Mary Melep of Kapmaso Village, Kabianga location/Ward, Kericho County.

Wife to Mr Alfred Mutai. Loving mother to Derrick Kimutai, Sandra Cheptoo and Ethan Kiprono.

Daughter-in-law to Mr Hezekiah Ngerechi and the Late Mrs Grace Ngerechi.

Sister to the Late Weldon Koech, Eng. Mike Koech, Philemon Koech, Lily Chepkurui, Wesley Koech, Reuben Koech (Executive Office of the President), Eileen Mutai (Co-op Bank), Caroline Cherotich (Sigowet Sub County Hospital), Emmy Korir, Sharon Langat, Raymond Koech, Betty Chepkemoi and Robert Koech.

Sister-in-law to Jackline, Joyce, Norah, Judy, Nancy, Abigail, Margaret, Nancy, Leonard, Robert, the Late Stanley, Jennifer, Beatrice, Nicholas and Patrick.

Auntie to many nieces and nephews.

The cortege leaves Tenwek Hospital Mortuary on Friday, 27th October 2023 for an overnight stay at her home in Tenwek Village, Bomet County.

Prayers and burial will be held on Saturday, 2828 October 2023 at her home in Tenwek Village, Bomet County
