Father of David Gitonga, George Mwiti, Jeremiah Mwiti, Martin Mutuma, Edith Karambu, Glory Mwendwa, Christopher Ndereba, Beth Kaguri, Nahashon Muriiki, Nancy Nkatha and Polly Kawira. Father-in-law of Dorcas, Nelly, Lillian, Ruth, the late Kimathi, Nkatha and Mutuma. Grandfather of Humphery, Sharon, Brownie, Maureen, Chris, Derrick, Dennis, Wendy, Abigail, Mwenda, Koome, Robinson, Keith, Ethan, Megan and Alyssa.
