It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Ishmael Ng’ang’a Kimani at ICU at The Karen Hospital on 3rd September 2017 after a short illness.

He was the Last Born Son of the late Simeon Kimani and the late Hannah Wanjiru. He was the husband to Christine Mumbi Ng’ang’a – Kiserian. Father to Emma Wanjiru Gichuhi-Bollore Transport & Logistics, Morgan Kimani-KISE, Late Diana Wairimu, Hellen Wangui Amukoa-I&M Bank, Antony Gakuu-Alabaster Creatives & Edwin Gitau-Njata TV/FM & SEB Estates Ltd. Father-in-law to Gichuhi Ngare, Gladys Kimani, Rev. Stanley Amukoa – CITAM Rongai, Caroline Gakuu & Zipporah Gitau. Grandfather to (Tendai Wangu, Makena Mumbi & Mucege Ngare), (Abigael Mumbi, Patience Muthoni & Peace Ng’ang’a), (Lewis Ng`angia, Erik Kimani & Kevin Gakuu), (Patience Mumbi & Hope Akoya), (Warren Ng’ang’a, Christine Mumbi & Kimbery Njeri), (Christine Mumbi & Gerald Ng’ang’a). Great Grand Father of Jamuhuri Kuda. Brother to the Late Hellen Wangui, Late Bathlomew Gitau, Late George Ngugi, Beatrice Thuiya, Hottensiah Njekehu, Josiah Kinyanjui, Late Phyllis Mumbi, Zachariah Thairu and Hezekiah Ng’ang’a-Lesothu. Brother-in-law to Agatha Nyambura & Prof. Maitai, Cecilia Gakenia Waweru, Jane Muthoni Gakuu, Late Nduta & Benard Murigi, Late Geoffrey Muthumbi & Sarah Muthumbi, Anne Ndegwa, Lydia Wanjiru & Samuel Muriithi, Kihurani Gakuu, Mwarania Maina & Dr. Maina Kanyi, Hellen Kagendo & Willies Murigu, Githui Gakuu & Joyce Wairimu.

Funeral arrangement Meetings are being held daily at St. Andrew’s Church Nairobi (5pm – 7pm) & at Home in Kiserian (3pm-4pm) The cottage leaves Montezuma Funeral Home Nairobi on Friday 8th September 2017 at 8:00am and Burial will take place at His home in Kiserian from 10:30am.
