Jacinta Wangari Gitau

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jacinta Wangari Gitau retired elder at PCEA Dandora Church which occurred on 7th June 2020 after a short battle with cancer.

Daughter of the late Richard Kaggia and the late Milka Nyokabi of Rironi Village in Limuru. Daughter-in-law of the late Laban Mwangi and the late Maria Muthoni of Itaga village in Muranga. Sister of Hannah Njoki, Mary Njeri, the late Lawrence Wandati and Geoffrey Gathii. Stepsister of Paul Wandati, David Kabue, Peter Njunge, Jecinta Wangari, the late Hannah Njoki, Daniel Mbugua, Susan Njeri and Joseph Nyaga. Wife of Simon Gitau Laban, mother of Catherine Nyokabi, Mary Muthoni, Kenneth Irungu and Teresia Kabura. Mother-in-law of Daniel Ng’ang’a and Wangari Makena. Grandmother of Brian Gitau, Natalie Wangui, Gitau Irungu, Wangari Irungu, Luke Gitau, Natasha Nyambura and Nigel Thumbi. Beloved aunty and Grandma of many.

She will be laid to rest on Saturday 13th June 2020.
