It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mzee Jackson Kiprotich Kibor (Chairman) of Uasin Gishu County after a lengthy illness.
Mzee was a son to the late Kipkenel Arap Boit (Kap Samitui) and the late Chepkeino (Bot Kasiran).
Mzee Kibor was the youngest brother to Kasiran (Bet Kongeluk), Chebo Mwangi (Bet Kipkesio), Isaiah Bungei Arap Kidogo (Kwamba Seba), and the eldest, Martha Chebolem (Bot Chelengu).
Loving husband to the late Mama Mary Chererwe Kibor, Mama Josphine Chepkoech Kibor, Mama Naomi Cheptoo Kibor, and Mama Eunitah Chelimo Kibor.
They were blessed with 15 sons; Phillip, the late Peter (Mbogo), Kirwa, Sammy, Steve, Julius, David, the late Edwin, Ezekiel, Eric, Elkana, Evans, Raymond, Reuben and Rem.
12 daughters; the late Grace, Magdeline, Betty, Truphena, Peninah, Cheptoo. Loice, the late Susan, Irene, Cheptanui, Ruth and Rael
Daughters-in-law; the late Stanislove, Chele, Chebet, Janet, Michelle, Bethany, Hellen, and Diana.
Sons-in-law, Eric Barng’etuny, the late Jack Abura, Kipchumba Kimaiyo and the late Leonard Wandili.
Mzee Kibor had 60 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
The cortege leaves Eldoret Hospital Mortuary at 10:00am on Thursday 31st March 2022 for AIC Fellowship and thereafter for his home Samitui Farm, Kabenes for an overnight stay. The burial ceremony will take place on Friday, 1st April, 2022 from 10:00am at his home Samitui Farm, Kabenes.
