We, the nuclear and extended family of the late Mr. Jackson Kitili Mativo are sincerely and immensely grateful to everyone who walked with us, both individually and collectively through prayers, presence, messages, visits and financial support during the short illness, passing, mourning, final send-off and continued celebration of Mzee.

We can neither enumerate nor reach you all to deliver our personal appreciation in recognition of your sacrifice towards making our burden lighter.

Please accept this message as our appreciation and indebtedness to you. Our most sincere appreciation goes to the Prayer Groups, organising committees, service providers, and the various organisations who stood with us and ensured that everything ran smoothly.

Asanteni sana and may The Almighty Lord continue to bless you all.

To our Great and Beloved “Vava”

We were blessed with your wisdom and dedication as our family leader. Even in your absence we feel your warm presence and know that you continue to watch over us; Our shining star.We thank God for the years He granted you to be with us.

You are sadly missed along life’s way, quietly we remember you every day.You may no longer be in our lives to share, but in our hearts, you dwell and are always there.

May you continue resting with the Lord in eternal peace.

“When a great man dies, for years the light he leaves behind him, lies on the paths of men” Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
