It’s with Humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Jacob Kiprono Kiplagat of Kong’asis Location, Kipsangui, Uasin Gishu County.

Son of the late Joshua Kiplagat Cherogony (Kaptugenin) and the late Rhoda Jelagat Kiplagat and Kabon Jebet Kiplagat.

Husband of Rosaline and Esther.

Father to Eddah, Janet, Kipkosgei, the late Jemutai, Kiptum, Jepkoech, the late Kibet, the late Jerobon, Kiptoo, Kipyego, Kipkogei, Kanga, Kandie, Jepchumba, Kipkurui, Justus, Kipchumba, Jelagat, Kiprotich and Jepkemei.

Brother of Kimaiyo, Eunice, the late Ruth, the late Joseph, Mary, John, Jane, Moses and Josephine. Brother-in-law to Kwambai, Jane, Barmasai, Amy, John, Dinah, the late Phillip, Rebecca and Dominic.

Father-in-law to Kasyoka,Tito, Chris, Matthew, Eunice, Margaret Jennifer, Rhoda, Eddah, Fridah, Jebet, Elizabeth, Caren, Maggy, Jemutai, Lynn,Viola, Ruth and Faith. He leaves behind 54 Grandchildren and 6 Great-grandchildren.

The cortege leaves MTRH Mortuary on Friday 3rd March, 2023 at 9.00am for a requiem mass at Kiwato Catholic Church from 12 Noon. Thereafter, an overnight vigil will be held at his home in Kong’asis Farm (Kipsangui), Soy Sub-county, Uasin Gishu County. Burial will be held on Saturday 4th March, 2023 at the same place.
