Jacob Momanyi Orioki

It is with deep sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will teat we announce the untimely passing of Jacob Momanyi Orioki former Finance Manager of Leather Industries of Kenya. This occurred on 31st of May 2023 after a short illness and hospitalization.

Son of the late Peter Orioki and Mama Leah Bosibori of Ichuni Village, Nyaribari Masaba, Kisii County.

Jacob was the loving husband to Beatrice Osebe Okindo (Enoomatasian girls) and caring father to Maureen Gesare, Edith Kemunto, Klaus Orioki, Gloria Kerubo, Collette Moraa, Pearl Nyamusi and Clyde Okindo. Father in-law to Thomas Lole, Grandfather to Kyle Momanyi and Kylian Lole.

Brother In-law to the late Nyangeri, the late Bethwel, the late Moracha, Nyambega, Ogutu, the late Dorcas,Alice, Okindo’s – Pacifica, Hellen, Jane, Elimelda, Jacqueline, Sixtus, Felix, Roseline, Gregory, Lydia, Fridah,Veronica among others.

Son-in-law to the late Andrew Okindo, Tabitha Moraa and Agnes Moraa.

Nephew to Oreko, Ochichi, Otiso, Ombati, Keng’abi, Kemunto, Rosa, Paskaria, Ogeto among others. Uncle and cousin to many.

Family, friends and relatives are meeting daily at his Ngong residence from 5.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

Fundraising in aid of hospital bill and funeral expenses will be held at All Saints Cathedral Nairobi on Tuesday, 13th June 2023 at 5:30pm.

The Requiem mass will be held on Wednesday, 14th June 2023 at Embulbul Catholic Church Ngong at 12.00pm.The cortege leaves Montezuma funeral home on Thursday, 15th June 2023 at 6.00am to his rural home.

Funeral service and burial will be on Friday 16th June 2023 at Ichuni Village, Nyaribari Masaba, Kisii County.
