It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Retired church Elder Mr Jafford Kathuni M’Ribui of P.C.E.A Kiamuriuki Church, which occurred on Thursday, 14th April, 2022.

He was son to the late Ibrahim M’Ribui, Late Jesca Kaguna and Late Edith Ciamati.

Son-in-law to Late Matumo & Late Jennifer.

Loving husband to Peninah Ciambaka Kathuni. Adoring father to: Ken Njagi Kathuni (Hansar (K) Ltd) & Beatrice Kathure Njagi (Vivo Energy), Henry Murithi Kathuni (Hansar (K) Ltd) & Jane Wairimu Murithi (UN SACCO), Felix Mwenda Kathuni (Forteas Products Ltd) & Stella Muthoni Mwenda (Forteas Products Ltd), Lewis Kinyua Kathuni (Chuka University) & Ann Muthoni Kinyua (Ernst &Young LLP), Collins Mwiti Kathuni (HFC Ltd) & Janice Mwende Mwiti (University of Embu), Lynne Muthoni Kamau (Fastmasters Ltd) & Suleiman Kamau (Fastmasters Ltd).

Doting grandfather to: Nkatha, Karani, Ryan, Lisa, Kerry, Saschall, Wayne, Laureen, Wendy, Vivian, Ethan, Ray, Abby, Ron, Vannie, Junior, Arnold, Baraka, Ivana and Amani.

Brother to: Late Ciambuba, Karutu, Ciakuthii, Ciambaka, Ciakathia, Kaari, Late Munene, Late Mutegi, Ciebita, Ciangai, Ntarara, Kanini, Ciamwari, Muthoni and Njogu.

In-law to: Mr and Mrs Moi, Mr and Mrs Kiama, Mr and Mrs John (Urafiki), Mr and Mrs Magondu, Mr and Mrs Dr. Nyaga Mutunga, Mr and Mrs Ndun’gu.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Kiamuriuki village from 4:00pm.

The cortege leaves PCEA Chogoria Hospital Mortuary on Friday,22nd April, 2022 at 8:00pm for burial ceremony at his home, Kiamuriuki Village, Magumoni Location,Tharaka-Nithi County at 10:00am.
