James Ang’awa Okiri

It is with great sadness and God’s will that the Pacho family announces the promotion to glory of James Ang’awa Okiri on 19th May 2022 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Jemo was the son of Julian Evans Okiri Pacho and Beatrice Nyagaya Okiri. Husband to Andrea Franklin. Brother to Dr. Martin King Okiri (USA), Thomas Awili Okiri, Michael Okiri, Elizabeth Okiri, Robert Otieno Okiri, Doreen Okiri and Janet Owuor (USA). Brother-in-law to Dr. Patricia West Okiri (USA), Njeri Weru Awili, Ruth Otieno and Eng. Isaac Owuor (USA).

Nephew to Canon Oliver and Herine Gwer Pacho, late Okumu Pacho, Christine Okumu, Awili Pacho, Ajwala Pacho, Sellah Odero, Jane Kitoto, Irene Wasonga, Mary Okol, Felix Pacho, Zack Pacho, Grace, Florence, Dorcas, late Dr. James Ang’awa, late John Talo, Jemimah Otieno, Joyce Wagude and others.

Cousin to Ben Ong’ele, Kennedy Awili, Dr. Bernard Ochieng Gwer, Rockefeller Madara(USA), Sharon Awili, Steve Ochieng, Mathews Wasonga, Justice Mary Ang’awa, James Ang’awa Otieno, Dr. James Ang’awa Wagude among others.

Jemo’s interment will be held on 17th June 2022 at Newport beach, LA, California, USA.

Thereafter the family will hold a memorial service at ACK St. Barnabas Church, Otiende on 28th June 2022 at 2pm followed by a memorial service on 2nd July 2022 at Ka-Pacho home, Asembo, Rarieda, Siaya County.
