Appreciation

Mrs. Milkah Chege, together with his children and the entire Gaitung’u family wish to express our sincere gratitude to the Almighty God for the wonderful years He allowed us to spend with “JG”, as well as the peace bestowed upon us throughout the mourning period.

We express our heartfelt gratitude to the friends, families and colleagues for the love, friendship, prayers and overwhelming support that we received during our time of bereavement as we laid our beloved to eternal rest There is no measure or sufficient words that could express our appreciation. We were deeply humbled by your visits, words of encouragement and comfort, your gifts and generous contributions towards according our patriarch a befitting send-off for a man who truly nurtured, mentored and touched many lives.

Our special acknowledgment and thanks to the team of doctors and nurses who cared for JG at the Sanar International Hospital- India, The Nairobi Hospital led by Dr. Gladwel Kiarie and Dr. P. Ngugi. “If it was in your hands, you would have given him a new lease of life.” — Asanteni Sana.

To the NCBA Upperhill team that donated blood to extend JG’s life, accept our heartfelt gratitude. Special thanks go to our Nairobi committee that was ably led by Mr. Sam Waweru for the commitment and zeal portrayed during the time we held the meetings without tiring.

We also wish to appreciate the management and the entire fraternity of Parklands Sports Club (JG’s second home) for the love you extended to us and also availing a conducive meeting place and refreshments for the entire period. To the chairman, Mr. Michael Muchemi, and your entire team, please accept our sincere appreciation. To the golfing fraternity, Muthaiga Golf Club and Vetlab Golf Club, kindly accept our special thanks for tributes and support.

Special thanks to the clergy led by His Grace, Bishop David Mureithi of House of Grace, Bishop Martin Kinyua of VOPC and Pastor Peter Lewoi of Ilbissil.

To all the service providers who supported us including “Big Mitch Events” and “Juliana Caterers”. Please accept our appreciation for putting your best foot forward.

Since it is not possible to thank each one of you individually, please accept our warm gratitude and prayers to the Almighty God to bless each one of you abundantly.
