James Gitau Mukuria

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. James Gitau Mukuria of Mombasa on 3rd October, 2022, at Port Reitz-County Hospital, Mombasa after a short illness.

Son of the late Daniel Mukuria Gakarni and the late Lucy Wairimu of Kinangop. Husband of Alice Kuthea Malala; father of Lucy Wairimu (KCA University) and Beatrice Wanjiku Mukuria.

He was the Son-in-law of Philip Malala and Rose Ndunda. He was brother of the late Sameri, the late Raphael, Gabriel, Pius, the late Beatrice, Boniface, Mary, Sambigi, Julius, the late Davies and Kameri. He was a brother-in-law, uncle and grandpa to many.

The cortege will leave Port Reitz- County Hospital Mombasa on 7th October 2022.

The burial ceremony will take place at the family farm in Mawingu, Kipipiri, Nyandarua County on 8th October 2022 as from 11am.

There will be a meeting at Hon. Sambigi’s home in Mawingu, Kipipiri, Nyandarua County at 5pm on 7th October 2022.
