James Jackson (J.J) Gichuki

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden passing on of our dear father James Jackson (J.J) Gichuki formerly of Ministry of Agriculture.

Son of Jackson Gitonga and Joyce Gathoni. Step-son to Leah Wanjiru.

Husband to the late Agatha Wanjiru Gichuki. Father to Pauline Wambui, Betty Ngima, Margaret Wangeci and Angela Wangui.

Grandfather to Valerie Wanjiku, Michael Gichuki, and Arthur Kitheka. Great-grandfather to Leo, Elvis, Luca, Mary.

Brother to Opprotuna Wangeci. Step-brother to Njoki, Wambugu, Wangeci, Mbogo, the late Waweru,Wacuka, Njanjo, the late Nderitu, Kariuki, Maina and Ngatia.

The cortege will leave Nyeri County Referral Hospital Funeral Home at 8.00am on 5th July, 2023. The funeral mass will take place at 10.00am at St. Joseph Cafasso Catholic Church – King’ong’o, Nyeri. He will thereafter be laid to rest beside his beloved wife at their home in King’ong’o.
