James Maina Githu (Father)

1936 – 2023

It is with profound sorrow & humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of James Maina Githu (Father) of Kenya Njeru, Rwathia, Murang’a County, that occurred on 5th January, 2023. He was the Director of Rwathia House Trading Company Ltd.

Loving husband to Jane Wairimu Maina.

Son to the late Githu Gathere and the late Wanja Githu.

Loving father to Hannah Wanja, the late Peter Githu, Mary Wamaitha, Samuel Thiongo, Joseph Gathere and Patrick Mwendandu.

Brother to the late Bilha Wanjiru, the late Joseph Gathere (Mbichi) and Florah Wambui Gikonyo.

Grandfather to Ruth, Maina Irungu, Gikonyo, Mureithi, Githu, Muthoni, Jane, Wanjiru, Mwangi, Maina Kariuki and James Maina.

Family, relatives & friends are meeting at Magomano Hotel CBD, Rwa Guest House – Desai Road, Ngara and at his home Kenya Njeru, Rwathia Murang’a.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Friday 13th January, 2023 at 6.30am. The funeral service & burial will be held at his home in Kenya Njeru, Rwathia Murang’a County.
