James Mogaka Mweberi

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of James Mogaka Mweberi which occurred on 29th March, 2022 in Kansas USA.

Son of the late Harun Mweberi Mwencha (Former KNUT Secretary, Nyamira) and the late Esther Mweberi.

Grandson to the late Nehemiah Mwencha and Late Esther Kwamboka, the late Zablon Isanda and the late Dina Nyabonyi.

Brother to Alice, Kennedy Mose, Atuti, Pamelah, Carren, Catherine, Beatrice and Eunice Moraa (USA).

Nephew to Ambassador Erastus Mwencha, Sammy, Steve, Late Zablon and Jane Matara Mwencha (Snr. ACC Kisii Township Div.), Kimoni’s, Anunda’s, Osinde’s, Ombuki’,s and the Isanda’s.

Cousin to Sammy Marasi’s, Onkundi’s, Machuki’s, Ondieki’s and the Matara’s, George Nyakweba and the Isanda’s, Sophia Nyamongo’s, Teresa Opande’s and Rose Isanda’s.

Husband to the late Cathleen Turner. Father to Sophia Moraa (USA). Brother-in-law to Samwel Oyogo, Ruth Mecha, Kerubo Atuti, Late Alex Ochieng, Shem Mose, Sammy Onsongo (KPA), Julius Onyancha and Isanda Momanyi (USA).

Family, relatives and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements via zoom meetings in the USA and here in Kenya.

The fundraising is ongoing and donations and contributions can be sent through M-PESA No. 0724-043 971 (Benson Mwencha) and burial will be held on Friday, 22nd April, 2022 at their Tindereti home, Gesima Settlement Scheme.
