James Njogu Mwangi

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of James Njogu Mwangi after a lengthy but bravely fought illness.

Beloved husband to Mercy Wanjiru Gachuhi (Ministry of Youth Affairs) and father to Joseph Mwangi, Samuel Gachuhi, Simon Warorua and Kenneth Tibi.

Son to the late Joseph Mwangi and Sarah Muthoni. He was a brother to Margaret Wangui Kamau (USA), Damaris Wakonyo Ngugi, Mirriam Waitherero, Rahab Wanjiru (gabby A.I Molo & Mawanda A.I Naivasha), Mercy Njoki (Mombasa Provisional Hospital), Peter Warorua, Stephen Mbugua, Ann Wambui, Joyce Kagira (Namibia), the late Thiro Mwangi and Hellen Wanjiku Nduati (Namibia).

He was a brother in law to Nduati (Namibia).

He was a father in Law to Mary Njeri, Lucy Mukami and Grace Wamaitha.

He was a grandfather to Gillian, Jaimie, Jasmine, Marley and Jeyline. He was a cousin, nephew, uncle and friend to many.

The cortege leaves Mukoe Funeral Home at 9:00am on Friday, 4th August, 2023 for a funeral service and burial at their farm in Githunguri Kiangima.
