James Silvano Mutuku Mativo

We humbly accept the passing on of our beloved father, grandfather, great grandpa, brother and friend:- James Silvano Mutuku Mativo. He passed on in Athi River on 4th February 2023.

He was husband to the late Bernice Wayua Mativo. Father of the late George Mativo, Dr John Mativo (KETRACO) and the late Stella Mativo.

He was the son to the late Mzee Mativo and the late Cucu Mulau Mativo. Son in law to the late Grishon Mwisa and the late Anna Mwisa.

Brother to Ndinda Musau, Edward, Frank, the late Mary Kivuitu and Muthoki Wambua; the late Chief Ben Mativo, the late Nzuki, the late Jonathan and Mbane. Brother in law to Sammy Mwisa, the late Jackson, the late Mutuku, Rose, among others.

Father-in-law of Petronilla Ogut. Grandfather to Peggy Mativo-Ochola, Melissa Mativo, Dulcie Mativo. Great grandfather to Jakwe Ochola.

Uncle to Godfrey Kimondiu,Wambua Musau, Mulinge, Stan, Geoffrey, late Phina, Dorcas, Kioko, Munini and Mweu, Mutua, Wavinya, David, Manu, Moses, Muindi, Virginia, Mumbua, Cate, Anne, Aaron, Tom, Mwendwa, Mwongela, Irene, Mambo, Ann, Moses, Anne, Eunice, Antony, Ernest,Victor, among others.

Family and friends are meeting from Tuesday (7th) up to Friday (10th) at Parklands Baptist Church from 5.30pm.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday 14th February 2023 at Parklands Baptist Church, followed by the Burial on Wednesday 15th February 2023 at his home in Makindu, Makueni County.
