James Wairire Kahugu

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our patriarch James Wairire Kahugu, on Tuesday 9th August, 2022.

Son to the late Kahugu wa Ndundu and Njeri wa Kahugu. Loving husband to the late Mary Waithira Wairire of Mutego Village, Gitaru Sub-location. Father to Prof. Gidraph Wairire and Prof Hazel Gachunga, Naomi Njeri and Joe Mbugua, Esther Wanjiku and Reuben Kageche, Kahugu Wairire and Ng’endo Kahugu, John Wairire and Carol Ndungu, Victoria Kayo and Vincent Githuku.

Brother to the late Damaris Kayo, the late Susan Wangui, Alice Njoki, John Ndung’u.

Loving Guka to Wanjiru, Samantha, Nyambura, Theophilus Wairire, Blessing, Mumbi, Njogu, Wairire Kageche, Charity, Maina, Waithera Kayo, Wairire Kahugu, Njeri, Waithera, Max Wairire, Joy Waithera,Waceke. Great grandfather to many.

Friends and relatives have been meeting daily at his home at Mutego Village.

The cortege leaves PCEA – Kikuyu Funeral Home on Monday 15th August, 2022 at 9:00am. His life celebration service will be at PCEA – Sigona Church at 10:30am and interment thereafter at his home, Mutego Village.
