Janaide Njugu Karanja

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on Janaide Njugu Karanja which occurred on 10th July 2022.

Daughter of Thiomi Waithaka and Margaret Nyambura. Wife of the late Emmanuel Karanja Mwangi. Sister to Waithaka, Njeri, Kibui, the late Gathanga, Keeru, Kiiru and the late Njuguna.

Mother to Daniel Mwangi, Susan Wanjiru, Elena Nyambura, David Thiomi, Lydia Wangu, Richard Kibicho, Alice Njeri and Lucy Wangari.

Mother-in-law to Mary Wanjiru, Peter Maina, Caroline Wanjiru, Mary Wangechi, Paul Mungai, Veronica Wamuyu, Philip Mwangi,Tony Mareke. She was a grandmother and a great grandmother of many.

Prayers and funeral arrangements are being held daily from 3:00pm at her residence Huhoini Village, Kagongo Sub-location, Othaya Sub-county. Other meeting will held at Emmaccra Hotel on Friday, I5th July 2022 at 5:00pm.

The cortege leaves Mwai Kibaki Funeral Home Othaya at 8:00am on Tuesday, I 9th July 2022, thereafter the funeral service will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Huhoini, Burial will be held at her residence.
