Jane Chemaiyo Tirop

It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Jane Chemaiyo Tirop of Umande, Nanyuki, on 2nd November 2022.

She was the daughter to the late Kiptenai Arap Rop and the late Tapyotin Rop. Beloved wife to Willy Lelei Tirop. The late was a sister to the late Morogo Arap Tenai, the late Kipserem Arap Koech, the late Seurei Arap Birgen, the late Kipsang Arap Arusei, the late Kiprugut Arap Tendenei, the late Agui Arap Singoei, Kimuigei Arap Tanui, the late Kipselem Arap Serem. Step-sister to Malakwen Arap Tenai, Kipsugut Arap Koech, Kipyego Alexander and Chepkering Bot Sondiei.

She was the mother to, Simon Chebolet, James Msungu, Ann Cherugut,William Kimeli, the late Phillip Kibitok, James Kipchirchir, Hellen Chepkinyor, Esther Cheptoo and Leah Chelimo. She was a step mother to John, the late Sarah, Monicah, Moses, Nelson, Gilbert, Onesmus and Macqueen.

Mother-in-law to Maj Gen. (Rtd) Anthony Rob, Anna Chebolet, Sabina Kosgei, Elizabeth Kimeli, Susan Kebenei, Hellen Kipchirchir, Lt Col (Rtd) David Kipng’etich, William Tanui and Charles lkenye. The Late was a Grandmother, Great Grandmother,Aunt and Sister-in-law to many.

The Cortege leaves Kenyatta University,Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital (KUTRRH) Funeral Home on Friday 11th November 2022 at 9.00am for a funeral service at her home in Umande, Nanyuki at 4.00pm. Burial will be held on Saturday, 12th November 2022, at her home in Umande, Nanyuki.
