It is with deep regret that the Davies family of Kenya announce the sudden and untimely passing of Jane Davies former Kenyan and African Ladies Singles and Doubles Tennis Champion.
Beloved daughter of the late Jim and June Davies. Sister of Richard Davies.
Mother of Alan Davies and Mother-in-law of Rachel Davies.
And very proud grandmother of Hunter Davies.
You will be missed by us all but and we are happy knowing that you are now at peace and with your wonderful parents watching over us.

She put her country, Kenya on the world tennis map and made us all cheer. Even those who didn’t follow tennis. May she rest in peace
